Januari 2012: Right now I'm looking for freelance admissions. I make illustrations, websites, logotypes, murals, graphic design and so on. I'm also teaching.
Matilda Ruta (f. 1982) är en tecknare / formgivare från Stockholm. Efter examen från Konstfack har hon bland annat arbetat med serienoveller på temat övergrepp till nationellt centrum för kvinnofrid, barnboken ”Kim och Skrutten” som kom ut förra hösten, och blandade illustrationsuppdrag och väggmålningar. Sedan maj är Matilda bildredaktör för den 112 år gamla anarkistiska tidningen Brand, som med ny redaktion genomgått en stor förändring. Formmässigt är Brand numera helt baserad på illustrationer, serier och handmålade rubriker. Under 2011 kom Matildas seriebok "Tummelisa eller den andra vildmarken” ut på Kolik förlag.
Matilda Ruta (b.1982) is an artist / illustrator from Stockholm. After graduating from Konstfack, she has, among other things, worked with short stories in comic form, the children's book "Kim och Skrutten" that came out last fall, as well as different illustration assignments and murals. September 2011, her first book, the graphic novel with the title "Thumbelina or the other wild" came out, from Kolik förlag. Since last year, Matilda is the graphics editor at the 112 years old anarchist magazine Brand, which has recently changed a lot, with a new editorial group. In its form, Brand is now based entirely on illustrations, comics and hand painted headlines.
